Best Western Plus Hollywood hills is my favorite under $200 hotel. The lobby is filled with celebrity headshots and autographs. It is also located very close to the walk of fame.
There are many hotels located in the heart of downtown LA with similar views. Rooftop pools provide an amazing night swim. You can find great hotels at about $200/night.
This is a beautiful property located in Santa Monica. It sits right on the coast where you can take a true California Sunset. It is a little pricier ($600/night depending on season).
